Women’s Ministry is again collecting school supplies for Crossroads to be distributed to families that need help getting the needed supplies for their children.  There is a list on the table in the entryway of needed items.  There is a tote on the bench in the entryway for you to put the supplies in when you bring them.  Please bring the supplies to church by Sunday, August 7 so we can get them brought to Crossroads that week.  Thank you so much for your help in helping area families!!

On Thursday, September 22, Bible League Volunteers host “The Power of the Word” retreat. Keynote speakers Mike & Lynn Wilder share the story of how they found their way out of Mormonism into the loving arms of Jesus’ grace.  You will also be inspired by the ways God uses Bible League ministry to break through spiritual darkness and transform lives around the world with His Word.  Registration is $40/single or $70/married couple.  Sign up today online at bibleleague.org/tickets OR phone Judy at 708-367-8546. There are also registration forms on the table in the entryway.  Registration closes September 12. There is a book on the table in the entryway written by Lynn Wilder.  It is about her and her family’s journey in Mormonism.  Please feel free to take it and read and it and pass it on to someone else.

Worry is a conversation you have with yourself about things you cannot change.  Prayer is a conversation you have with God about things He can change.
